European Prehistory, Archaeology, and FolkwaysA knowledge of and appreciation for the history of our ancestors are absolutely necessary for even the short-term survival of our people. We need to have good acquaintance with our roots before we can know who we are and make sound plans for our future. We have assembled here a substantial collection of works dealing with the prehistoric cultures of our people, whose world stretched from northwestern Europe all the way to the Indian subcontinent, which our people conquered and settled in the second millennium B.C.
There are books on the Megalith Builders of prehistoric Brittany and England; on the Copper Age Beaker Folk and on the ancient Thracians of southeastern Europe; on the storied civilizations of the ancient Mediterranean; on the artistic achievements and high spirituality of the Celts; and on the world of the Germanic peoples, from the time of the "migration of peoples" down to the astonishing career of those legendary warriors of the North, the Vikings, whose adventures took them as far as North America.
