A DISCOURSE AGAINST THE CHRISTIANS
In this early attack on Christian "thought,"
second-century Greek philosopher Celsus shows how the early
church injected the worst features of Judaism into its
eclectic theology. Celsus also has some harsh words for the
ancient Jewish religious leaders, whom he calls the
"first offspring of sorcerers and deceivers...cornered
in the insignificant land of Palestine"!
